Congratulations to the Relay Champs Team

Well done to those athletes who travelled to Hamilton for the Relay Champs.  The weather was mostly fine, just the odd shower passed through which made for a great day with some cloud cover.  Good effort by all teams who competed - not all managed to get their hands on a medal but we did have some great results- will post them when they come to hand.

A big thankyou to the officials who organised and ran the event and to our parents/Grandparents who stepped up to assist at events during the day - thankyou.

To our Team Managers thanks for all your time in putting the Team together and the last minutes adjustments thrown your way, you did and great job. 

It is important to remember if you enter a team event like this and then decide to pull out at the last minute it effects many children across different ages - as it did on Saturday when a Grade 11/12 Relay team were not allowed to race due to the late change from a younger age group.  You may not be aware how the teams are put together and the chain reaction it causes as the day goes on, if you enter your children in a team it is imperative your child comes to the event so others are not disappointed and miss their chance to compete.
